This project involves removing broken pavement and replacing it with new asphalt, and filling cracks in the asphalt with sealant. These are very cost-effective ways to extend the life of pavement. These improvements are happening all around the City of Bothell. Some of this work is in preparation for a full seal of the roadway, called a slurry seal, in the neighborhoods just west of Juanita Woodinville Way, at the south side of Bothell.
Construction is expected to begin in mid-May and last until mid-July 2019.
This project is funded by the Safe Streets & Sidewalks levy.
