Earth Hour is the annual worldwide event to promote sustainability and reduce energy usage by turning off lights for one hour on Mar. 30 between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m.

The City of Bothell is celebrating this event by turning off lights at City buildings:

  • City Hall
  • Bothell Operations Center
  • Fire Stations

Some lights will remain on in stairwells, handrails and the parking garage at City Hall for safety.

Deputy Mayor Duerr signed a proclamation for Earth Hour at the City Council meeting on Mar. 19.

The City asks residents and businesses to join us in celebrating by turning off lights and participate in community activities for one hour on Mar. 19 without power.
