Sustainamania
The 2022 Sustainamania is a week-long series of in-person and virtual activities meant to bring the community of Bothell together on ways to be and live more sustainably. Thanks to many community partnerships there will be a way to be involved in Sustainamania all week long! We invite you to check out all of the great events listed below to learn about how you can be involved!
How to participate
Attend events throughout the week to learn about actions you can take to lead a more sustainable life. By checking in at an event, your name will be entered into a drawing for sustainability prize packages!
Former Wayne Golf Course Restoration with Whale Scout
Volunteer to improve habitat in Bothell's largest park! Portions the former Wayne Golf Course are a migratory corridor for Chinook salmon in the Sammamish River and potential habitat for Coho at the confluence of Waynita Creek. By controlling non-native and invasive weeds, and protecting native trees and vegetation, we’re able to improve water quality for salmon and down the line provide more prey for killer whales in Puget Sound!
