Bothell Fire Department follows the American Heart Association curriculum to educate participants in Adult/Child CPR AED. The course covers the latest national standards in CPR AED and uses hands-on practice to emphasize the easy to remember techniques. Participants will learn how to recognize the symptoms of heart attack and cardiac arrest, how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and how to help a choking victim. Upon completion, participants will receive a 2-year American Heart Association completion card. Register here.

Basic First Aid for Individuals
Bothell Fire Department follows the American Heart Association to educate participants in Basic First Aid. The course will learn the most common medical and injury emergencies and how to respond. Participants will learn to control bleeding, use an EpiPen, open an airway, treat for shock, treat a diabetic emergency, and much more. This course offers a fun, hands-on learning environment to teach participants to recognize and act confidently in a real emergency. Register here.
CPR & First Aid for Business & Community Groups
CPR/AED and First Aid courses are available upon request for groups. Instructors are available to come to your location or participants may come to the fire station for the course.
