On October 23, 2017, at approximately 9:47 PM, a woman in her mid-forties entered the 7-11 located in the 22800 block of the Bothell Everett Highway, brandished a handgun and demanded money and lottery tickets from the cashier. The cashier filled a bag with money and lottery tickets and the robber walked calmly out of the store to her vehicle which was parked nearby. Bothell Police were immediately notified and responded. Through investigation it was learned that a similar robbery occurred in Snohomish County at a gas station in the 20700 block of the Bothell Everett Highway just minutes earlier involving the same suspect. Bothell Detectives worked through the day to identify the suspect. Even though the license plate on the suspect vehicle was not visible on the surveillance video, the Crime Analysis Detectives was able to identify it as a 2008 Mercedes Benz CLK convertible. Based on the possible vehicle description, Bothell Police Detectives were able to locate, identify and arrest the suspect at her residence just north of the City in Snohomish County. Bothell Detectives located a handgun and other items linking the suspect to the robberies.
