[ARCHIVED] Bothell Police Encourage Residents to Participate in National Night Out

National Night Out 2018

Subject:  Bothell Police Encourage Residents to Participate in National Night Out

When:  Tuesday, August 7th, 2018 - Officers will be available from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM

Bothell, WA – Neighborhoods throughout Bothell are invited to participate in National Night Out, a campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood safety.

National Night Out is an evening when residents are asked to turn on their front porch lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and law enforcement. Many of our neighborhoods choose to host a block party, a cookout at a park, or some other community gathering. We will have teams of officers available to stop by National Night Out events as we value the importance of building relationships, community, and trust with our residents.

National Night Out helps spread awareness about crime prevention programs and the impact the residents of Bothell can have on reducing crime, drugs, and violence in our community. Local neighborhoods and homeowners’ associations play a critical role in assisting the police department in these efforts and can help make our neighborhoods safer.

If you are interested in hosting an event and would like police to attend, please contact Crime Prevention/Administrative Sergeant, Bryan Keller at bryan.keller@bothellwa.gov
