Rosemary McAuliffe has been in public service for more than 40 years. She was a Washington State Senator from 1993 to 2016. Prior to that, she served on the Northshore School Board of Directors from 1977 to 1991.
A founding member of the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce, McAuliffe owns the Hollywood Schoolhouse in Woodinville. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seattle University.
McAuliffe has lived in Bothell for 54 years. She and her husband James have six children (all Bothell High School graduates) and 15 grandchildren. She enjoys traveling.
This is her first term on the Bothell City Council.
