The City annually funds capital projects to repair, replace or upgrade storm and surface water, sewer and water utilities and their associated infrastructure. These projects often occur in conjunction with other utility and transportation projects.
Storm and Surface Water
Annual storm and surface water projects include projects that correct existing storm and surface water deficiencies, prevent flooding, and replace aging infrastructure.
Sewer
Annual sewer projects include the repair or replacement of aging sewer mains, the repair or upgrade of sewer pump stations and other related infrastructure, and provide necessary capacity improvements and related planning and feasibility evaluations.
Water
Annual water projects can include the repair or replacement of aging water mains and other related water components, the repair or replacement of water components or structures not associated with water main improvements, or provide necessary level-of-service improvements related to pressure, water quality and/or fire flow.
