 Celebrate Public Works Week

National Public Works Week 2020 is May 17 – 23.

Public Works is working for you!

You’ve met Flat Stanley… Now meet Flat P.W. Paws, the American Public Works Association mascot. Print, cut out, and take a photo of Flat P.W. Paws to show us where Public Works is working for you!

To help you get started, we have some examples. Public Works is…

  • Creating safer school routes with crosswalks and flags
  • Maintaining roads to keep people safe
  • Preventing stormwater pollution
  • Teaching people how to read water meters to check for leaks
  • Helping people recycle and compost right
  • Improving access to public transportation

Share you photos with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram using #BothellPublicWorks or email them to us at recycle@bothellwa.gov. At the end of the week, we’ll share your photos on our social media channels.
