What is Community Academy?

Community Academy is an opportunity to get an up-close, behind-the scenes look at the Bothell Police Department. Participants will meet one evening each week and learn from officers, investigators, command staff and specialists - to learn more about what goes on at Bothell Police, including:

  • Criminal investigations
  • De-escalation tactics
  • Traffic laws and enforcement
  • Major crash investigations
  • Officer hiring and training
  • Partnership with Crisis Responders
  • Gathering and processing evidence
  • K9 Program
  • New Technology
  • And much more!

Your feedback matters.   An equally important part of Community Academy is the opportunity for Bothell Police to hear from you, the community members we serve.   Community Academy gives us an important opportunity to listen and for our community members to share.
