Valhalla Utility Improvement and Waynita Tightline Projects

About the Project

The Valhalla Utility Improvement Project will upgrade failing utility infrastructure within the Valhalla neighborhood and the Waynita Tightline Project will construct a new sewer bypass line to reduce sewage flows to Lift Station #1. 

This work was originally conceived as a single project and was later broken out into two separate projects to allow construction to begin sooner than would have been possible as a single project. Sewage flows that bypass Lift Station #1 will be conveyed directly to a King County Metro Sewer main. Associated pavement repair and curb ramp upgrades to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements are also included in the project.
