And because Bothell is in two counties, residents have the benefit of having access to two conservation districts! Built in 2021, Northshore YMCA's community food garden helps support Northshore YMCA’s Totes to Go program, a partnership with Northshore School District that provides healthy food for students in need. The food grown here also supports the existing YMCA afterschool programs. This helps connect youth to where their food comes from as well as involving them in the growing and harvesting process
