Storm and Surface Water Master Plan Update: 2021
Bothell City Council voted unanimously to adopt the 2021 Storm and Surface Water Master Plan Update during its Oct. 20, 2020 regular meeting and Public Hearing. This plan sets a course for stormwater programs and capital projects for the coming years and addresses current and anticipated regulatory requirements, emerging stormwater management technologies, existing flooding and water quality problems, and the resources the City needs to fully implement its plan.

Stormwater Management Action Plan (SMAP): 2022
As part of the Clean Water Act National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), the Washington State Department of Ecology requires the City to implement the Stormwater Management Action Planning (SMAP) process as outlined in the Western Washington Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit. The goal of the SMAP process is to achieve water quantity and quality improvements in a specific body of water by prioritizing actions on the land that drains to it.

Stormwater Management Program Plan (SWMP): 2022
Bothell’s Surface Water Division updates the City’s Stormwater Management Plan each year and asks Bothell residents and businesses to review the plan and share your feedback. Your ideas and concerns are important and will help us plan next year’s programs. This is also a great way for you to learn about what we’re doing and how you can get involved.
