240th St SW between 1st Pl W and 1st Ave W

Starting Monday, April 28, 240th St SW between 1st Pl W and 1st Ave W will be closed in both directions with a detour in place Monday - Friday from 7 am - 5 pm. The road will be fully reopened between 5 pm and 7 am. Pedestrian access will be maintained through the closure with a flagger escort. 

Work is expected to last though June 13 as a new sewer main is being installed as a part of a private development project. 

Detour

Access to 1st Ave W will be maintained from the east side of the closure. All other traffic will be detoured south on Meridian Ave S, at the traffic circle, onto NE 205th St and onto 7th Pl W.
