Join the City of Bothell and Eastside Pride PNW in raising the Pride Progress Flag on May 31st. Every June, we recognize, honor, and celebrate LGBTQIA+ community members. Pride Month commemorates the June 1969 Stonewall riots that resulted from ongoing harassment of New York’s trans and queer community by the New York Police.
City Council will proclaim June as Pride Month during the June 6 Council Meeting.
Thank you to Eastside Pride PNW for sponsoring this year's flag raising. Eastside Pride PNW is a community-based LGBTQIA+ education and advocacy organization comprised of LGBTQIA+ community members, students, parents and allies who are committed to enhancing the lives of the Eastside LGBTQIA+ community. Eastside Pride was created to make sure that our LBTQIA+ community is seen, heard and celebrated.
