On 10-27-16, at approximately 1400 hrs, a female victim was waiting at a bus stop at 102nd Ave NE and Main Street in Bothell. The victim noticed a male also waiting at the bus stop when she arrived. While the victim was standing, the male approached her from behind, placed his arm around her neck and told the victim to go with him—threatening her that she would be hurt if she didn’t comply.
The female screamed and fought her way free of the suspect. The suspect then fled on foot toward the Kaysner Park and Ride. The attempted abduction was witnessed by a nearby construction worker who yelled at the suspect to let go of the victim. A passing motorist saw the victim laying on the sidewalk crying shortly after the assault and stopped to help.
The suspect was described as a white male, 40’s to 50’s, 6’00” tall, 150-160 lbs with long, dark hair in a pony tail and a short beard. He was wearing dark clothing, with a hoody and a black baseball cap with white embroidery that possibly said, “Baseball.”
