[ARCHIVED] Plan for one-block Main Street closure this weekend for Tree Lighting Festival

Main Street closure

For safety and to minimize impacts of Main Street construction on Sunday’s Tree Lighting Festival, the City will close one block of Main Street to vehicles in downtown Bothell this weekend.

From Friday, Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. until Monday, Dec. 4 around 7 a.m.:

  • Main Street will be closed to vehicles between 101st and 102nd avenues

Event information

Sunday, Dec. 3

On Main Street between 101st and 102nd avenues

4:45 p.m.: Event begins

5 p.m.: Tree lighting and Santa arrival

The Bothell Fire & EMS Department will bring Santa on a fire engine to the event.

The festival is hosted by Main Street businesses. The City of Bothell and the City’s Lodging Tax Advisory Committee are among event sponsors.
