The City of Bothell Arts Commission invites you to an exhibition by artist Kathleen McCarty at the Bothell City Hall Art Gallery. McCarty’s art will be available for viewing starting August 1 until October 25.
Using acrylic paint to develop her canvas pieces layer by layer, McCarty’s work features beautiful blends of color used to convey the essence of the inspiration she feels when painting. McCarty draws her inspiration from the rich, natural beauty of the Skagit Valley where she resides. Her work includes “Purple Rain” (pictured on the right), “Pink Sky” and “A New Day”.
A Wisconsin native, McCarty graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago and studied in Florence, Italy, before moving to Washington state.
The exhibition is open during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
