[ARCHIVED] Bothell Police Get Hard Drugs Off Streets

photo shows recovered pistol with two magazines and drug parafernalia

On Monday, January 4, alert employees at a store on 120th Avenue Northeast immediately notified us of a theft in progress.  Officers got to the area in time to stop suspects in a vehicle, leaving the scene.

A third suspect was found inside the store.  A fourth suspect was located in a nearby vehicle.

Officers recovered a substantial amount of methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl pills; packaged for sale.  They also recovered a firearm and two handgun magazines.

Four suspects were taken into custody, one of them had an outstanding warrant for theft.

This isn’t a “big case” for Bothell Police.  Many Bothell residents are surprised to learn; incidents like this are fairly typical. But thanks to a strong partnership with the Bothell community and business owners, the outcome was also typical; stolen property recovered, and illegal drugs and taken off the streets.  Photo shows seized methamphetamine, heroin and fentanyl pills; packaged for sale.

We’re all working together to keep Bothell a great place to live, work, own a business and raise kids.  We’re proud of our officers.  But we can’t do it without you.  So, thank you, Bothell.

It’s just another day on the job, but it’s a job we believe in.  And we’re grateful every day for your support and partnership.
