Call us eternal optimists, but ever since the start of the Covid-19 outbreak, we've remained hopeful that it wouldn't be too much longer before our in-person gatherings could resume, like Coffee with a Cop. Needless to say, things haven't turned out that way.
We really miss Coffee with a Cop and the chance it gives us to meet with you, and we just can't wait any longer! So, we're kicking off the next-best thing online, starting Thursday, January 28th at 7:00 PM.
Chat with the Chief: A Community Conversation will be hosted on Zoom. It's an opportunity to say hello to us, bring your questions and share. We're so eager to meet with you again! Bring your own coffee (or maybe chamomile tea, since it's an evening event).
For us, nothing can truly replace Coffee with a Cop. It means so much, when community members take the time to meet with us in person. It has always been an important part of the way we get to know people who live and work in Bothell. It's a casual environment, where people may feel more comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns and ideas. Until we can meet face-to face again, we'll keep exploring alternatives that can help us connect and share.
Mark your calendar for Chat with the Chief on January 28th, a one-hour Zoom event at 7:00 PM. Register here so we can email you the Zoom link. There is no need to have a Zoom account or to download. We want everyone to be able to participate. If you need accommodations, please email our community engagement coordinator cam.johnson@bothellwa.gov.
We hope you'll join us. We miss talking with our community members, and are looking forward to seeing you!
