As part of National Police Week, May 9-15, many of our officers were recognized for exceptional service. Among them; six Bothell Police officers – received the Lifesaving Award: Officers Sukhi Kaur, Kayla Cooke, Daniel Wiseman, Jenna Shannon, Ivy Jacobsen, and Officer Makayla Phillips was recognized with TWO Lifesaving Awards.
Each of these officers, within the past year, took direct, skilled and immediate action that resulted in lives – saved.
These officers will each insist they were “just doing their job.”
Chief Ken Seuberlich sees it this way:
“It speaks to their character. They’re not expecting an award for doing their job. But, they most assuredly - deserve an award. These officers are great examples of our employees dedication to serving their community.”
