City Manager Recruitment Survey Results

Survey

Bothell Community - thanks to all who completed the City Manager Recruitment Survey!  A few weeks ago, we asked the community to provide input to help inform the recruitment process for our next City Manager.  We received more than 500 responses and you can see the full results here.

We asked about the skills, leadership attributes, and experience you would like to see in our next manager.  Accountability and integrity were identified as top traits, qualities, or characteristics desired for this role. The survey also showed that the next City Manager should have Budget and Financial Management and Strategic Planning experience, with Budget/Financial Sustainability being noted as the top pressing issue facing our community.

See the consultant brief City Council on these survey results in their June 15th meeting.

For questions on the recruitment process, contact Mat Pruitt, HR Director, mathew.pruitt@bothellwa.gov..
