City of Bothell is now accepting applications for Pop Shops on Main, Bothell's inclusive retail incubator program. Vendors who create handmade, curated, crafted or custom products are encouraged to apply. Applications will be accepted through October 25, 2022.
The entrepreneur who is selected will be provided an 8’ X 10’ retail shed as storefront in the heart of downtown Bothell. This is also an opportunity to learn the details of starting and running your own business. Bothell has partnered with the Washington State Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to assist you as you write your business plan, create a marketing plan, and learn about the details of running a business. The SBDC can also assist you in understanding your financial needs, pricing structure, and reporting requirements.
Rent and amenities are provided at no cost to the business. The only requirements are that the entrepreneur pays 10% of their monthly gross revenue in lieu of rent, has a business license and provides signage for their business.

Pop Shops on Main was created to support minority and women-owned businesses by removing barriers to starting a small business and providing a brick-and-mortar space to display and sell products. For questions, contact Economic Development Manager, Jeanie Ashe at jeanie.ashe@bothellwa.gov.
