Please join City of Bothell in welcoming Amanda Dodd to Bothell City Council. In their meeting on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022, King County Council appointed Councilmember Dodd to fill vacated Council Position #6 for the remainder of the unexpired term – through December 31, 2023. Councilmember Dodd was officially sworn in during their meeting and is also expected to take the oath of office during the Bothell City Council meeting held later tonight.
Position #6 became vacant earlier this year when State Representative Davina Duerr announced her resignation.
Bothell City Council interviewed a number of highly qualified candidates in July of 2022 and in a unanimous agreement pursuant to RCW 42.12 and 35A.13.020, entrusted King County with appointing the most appropriate candidate.
