Bothell's Winter Porch Light Parade Returns

Woman looking at holiday lights

The Cities of Bothell, Kenmore, Lake Forest Park and Shoreline have partnered to celebrate communities shining bright with the 2022 Winter Porch Light Parade from December 1 through December 31, 2022. These four cities invite their communities to create light displays that will become part of a virtual map, marking the many holidays and traditions celebrated during the winter season.

Participating homes are encouraged to get creative with their displays and the spaces they decorate. Last year we saw porches, patios, yards, walkways, balconies, and entire homes transformed into impressive holiday displays; we can't wait to see what is in store for all to see this year.

Registration for light displays will be open from November 14 to December 14.

A map of light displays will be available for the entire month of December for community members to tour and enjoy. Participating in the Winter Porch Light Parade is free, and this year, each city will provide awards to the top three displays within their community. Recipients of the "Best of Winter Porch Light Parade" will receive a custom yard sign, bragging rights, and a featured spotlight through marketing channels.
