Snow is falling in Bothell! A winter weather advisory is in effect today and tomorrow with possible snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches in the forecast. Public Works crews are ready and responding with snow plowers, sanders, and anti-ice on hand.
During snow and ice events, Public Works crews work around the clock to keep 300 miles of roadways clear and safe for pedestrians and drivers. Roads are cleared based on the snowplow priority map which is determined by factors like traffic volume, transit, and school bus routes. Public Works is also in coordination with Bothell's Fire and Police departments to make sure emergency routes are clear and accessible.
Even with crews plowing and de-icing, driving conditions can still be slippery and dangerous. Please use caution if you are commuting and stay safe with these winter weather safety tips. Stay updated on this week's winter weather by visiting bothellwa.gov/winterweather.
