Toni Call Joins City of Bothell as Deputy City Manager

Toni Call, Deputy City Manager

Today marks the first day in office for Bothell's new Deputy City Manager, Toni Call.

“I am excited to join the team at Bothell to support the services needed in such a growing and thriving city. It is an honor to work in local government and I look forward to collaborating with all, so that we, together, can continue to deliver high-quality services to the people of Bothell,” Call shares.

Call’s role as Deputy City Manager is to support the City Manager as well as the entire leadership team in the operation and coordination of cross-departmental work. Call will also be instrumental in the planning and execution of city-wide strategies.

"As Bothell grows and changes, our organization will continue to adapt and improve the way we plan and deliver services to our community," City Manager, Kyle Stannert says.

Call previously served as the Director of Finance and Asset Management for City of Bellevue and oversaw a city-wide budget of $2.2 billion. She was also responsible for all support service operations including Bellevue’s city-wide fleet, property acquisition, land survey, facility operations, facility planning, and customer service.

Prior to working for the City of Bellevue, Call was employed with King County for over 11 years and served in a number of positions including the Chief of Administration of Juvenile Detention and the Deputy Director of the Office of Performance Strategy and Budget.

“I had the privilege of working with Toni at the City of Bellevue and have seen her strong leadership skills, collaborative style and ability to enhance team performance firsthand,” Stannert shares.

Another exciting staffing update is that Becky Range will continue to serve as Bothell’s Assistant City Manager. Range will focus on diversity equity and inclusion, community engagement, human services and other special projects.

Range served as Bothell's Interim Assistant City Manager for the past two years and has done an exceptional job guiding city staff during a time of change and transition.
