Suspect Arrested, Charged with Felony Assault, Obstruction

At 1:45 PM Sunday, March 19 Officers arrested one suspect on felony assault and obstruction charges, following a 911 call about a domestic disturbance in the 18600 block of Bothell Way NE.

Officers located a female victim, who had injuries to the head that were swollen and bleeding.  She told officers her boyfriend accused her of stealing his drugs.  She said he kicked her in the face and attempted to strangle her.   The victim’s injuries were treated at the scene with the assistance of the Bothell Fire Department.

The victim was no longer in the residence when the suspect returned, one hour later.  Officers surrounded the apartment and ordered the suspect to surrender. 

After 90 minutes of refusing officers’ repeated orders,  the suspect was taken into custody (without injury) and booked at the King County Jail.  

The suspect was already wanted on one felony warrant in King County,  and multiple misdemeanor warrants in Snohomish County.  As of 5:00 PM Tuesday, March 21 - the suspect was still in custody with bail set at $55,000.
