Bothell City Council held their first meeting of the year last night! Judge Mara Rozzano conducted a swearing in ceremony for three Councilmembers as they begin four-year terms expiring Dec 31, 2027.
New to Council, Councilmember Carston Curd was sworn into Position 4, having just recently served as a City of Bothell Planning Commissioner.
Incumbent Mason Thompson was re-elected in Position 2 and was also re-elected by the Council to continuing serving as Mayor. Deputy Mayor Rami Al-Kabra will also continue serving as Deputy Mayor and both will fill these roles until Dec 31, 2025.
Councilmember Amanda Dodd, who was previously appointed to Council in 2023 to fill a vacant seat, was elected to Position 6 for a four-year term.
