As a part of the Bothell City Council 2040 Vision and Bothell Parks PROS Plan, the Council and community have prioritized improvements to the Park at Bothell Landing (9919 NE 180 St. in downtown Bothell) based on its location, space, amenities, and opportunity to enhance recreation, connectivity, accessibility, community gathering, and public health.
A previous master plan effort explored alternatives for generating revenue, expanding event and gathering spaces, adding a focal point fountain, improving water access, and upgrading the restroom and playground amenities. This project will create a conceptual design for future park improvements by considering the original master plan elements and current community feedback.
Community input is key to the project, and people are invited to respond to an online survey by February 18, 2024. People can also share their thoughts at upcoming engagement events at the Park at Bothell Landing on January 27th and February 7th.
More details about the project and upcoming open houses are available at bothellwa.gov/pabldesignproject. Project Manager, Aaron Milner (aaron.milner@bothellwa.gov), can also provide information about the project.
