The Bothell Police Department is seeking community members interested in applying to serve on the new Bothell Police Community Advisory Committee.
Interested community members, ages 16 and older, should return completed application by 5:00pm/PST May 15, 2024’
The Bothell Police Department appreciates the importance of community engagement and collaboration to its mission of service to all of the people of Bothell, which include those who live, work, and recreate in the City.
Members of this community advisory committee meet bi-monthly and advise the Bothell Police Chief Ken Seuberlich, providing important community perspectives and insight. This is not an oversight committee.
Ideal Committee Members
- Interest in helping Bothell Police build stronger community connections by offering insight and advice, directly to the Chief, during committee meetings
- Represents the diversity of our community
- Connections with underrepresented or historically marginalized communities
- Interest in shaping a newly adopted advisory committee for Bothell Police along with the committee’s mission, vision, and values
- Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with people of diverse perspectives and experiences
- Optional (supplemental) Have participated in, or willing to attend, Bothell Police Community Academy to broaden their understanding of local police operations, policies, and functions. This is not a requirement but it is helpful to have this experience when serving on this committee.
Committee Member Requirements
- Must be a Bothell resident, business owner, employee, property owner, student, volunteer, stakeholder, or non-profit partner
- Able to meet bi-monthly for two hours. Meetings will be virtual or hybrid in 2023 (as determined by committee) on Wednesdays at 6:00 - 8:00 PM:

- July 31, 2024
- Sept. 25, 2024
- Nov. 20, 2024
- Can be an existing Board or Commission member.
