The City of Bothell is now accepting grant applications from community organizations for the 2025–2026 budget cycle. Interested organizations must submit their applications by 5 p.m. on June 17, 2024. The City's Human Services grant program will fund approximately $400,000 to service providers annually.
Application Review Process
The City Staff and the Human Services Subcommittee, consisting of three City Council members, will review the applications and make recommendations to the full City Council. The City Council will allocate grant funding based on the Council's vision and goals and on findings from the 2024 Human Services Needs Assessment and strategic plan.
Applications Timeline
The City Staff and Human Services Subcommittee will complete the grant review process by September 2024 and make recommendations to the entire City Council by October 2024. The full City Council will approve the recommendations and adopt the funding in the 2025–2026 City budget.
If your agency is selected to receive a grant for 2025-2026, you will not have to reapply for funding in 2024. The City will provide the funding for each year at the beginning of each year, meaning successful agencies will receive 2025 funding in January 2025, and will receive 2026 funding the following January.
