On Sunday, June 23, Officers located and arrested a male suspect in a domestic violence assault that took place at 5:40pm on Friday, June 21 in the 10100 block of NE 202nd Street.

Patrol Officers arrived at the scene three minutes after the first 911 call from the area.  Witnesses said they heard a gunshot and described two vehicles that immediately sped away.

While Officers secured the scene and gathered evidence, other officers searched for the suspect vehicle.  Neighboring agencies were notified, and area hospitals were contacted. Officers learned one female victim had just arrived at Evergreen Hospital with a gunshot wound described as “non life threatening.”

Once the suspect’s identity was confirmed, detectives and the Community Crime Reduction Team worked to find the suspect.

Just before 8:30 pm on Sunday, June 23, investigators located the suspect in Kenmore and swiftly made the arrest.  The suspect was transported to the King County Jail.

Through a search warrant, officers recovered the firearm believed to have been used in the assault.
