Multi-disciplinary artist Stephanie Krimmel will join area artists for the Bothell Art Scene Art Walk on Thursday, October 10, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This Art Walk pairs local businesses in Bothell’s vibrant downtown with local artists for an evening of community fun celebrating art, food, and music. Be sure to stop by Bothell City Hall to meet Stephanie and see her works, including Sammamish River, a Bothell-centric commissioned piece made possible through support from the City of Bothell Arts Commission.
Stephanie is a Seattle-based artist who explores the concepts of time, scale, and the human experience. Her work is inspired by a series she calls Daily Art Habit, a six-year continuum in which she creates an autobiographical digital painting each day. The digital paintings are then printed on postcards to create wall sculptures such as Sammamish River.
The City of Bothell Arts Commission hosts regional visual artists in the gallery space of Bothell City Hall. Selected artists showcase their work for approximately three months. Stephanie Krimmel's mixed media will be on display from October 10, 2024, through January 6, 2025.
