BethAnn Lawson’s two-dimensional artwork is currently on display at Bothell City Hall until May 28. If her name or style looks familiar, it may be because she is the artist behind the two-story mural titled “Welcome to Bothell,” which is also showcased in the gallery.
BethAnn’s contemporary paintings combine precise brushwork with colorful whimsy, offering an engaging mix that appears abstract when viewed up close and more realistic from a distance. Her urban landscapes reveal the hidden stories of strangers and celebrate the remarkable architecture of both nature and human-made structures.
You can meet BethAnn during the upcoming Bothell Art Walk on Thursday, May 8, from 5 PM to 8 PM. This event pairs local businesses with artists for an enjoyable evening celebrating art, music, and culture.
The Bothell City Hall Gallery is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Please note that the gallery is closed on weekends and major holidays. The City of Bothell Arts Commission supports regional visual artists in the gallery, where selected artists display their work for approximately three months.
