Join Erin and other visual artists for the Bothell Art Walk on Thursday, July 10, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm. The Bothell Art Scene's Art Walk pairs local downtown businesses with artists for an evening of celebrating art and culture.
Erin's artistic foundation is rooted in the classical traditions of still life, figure, and landscape. She also finds inspiration in the richness of contemporary realism, both in subject matter and technique. Her narrative works tend to look outward, exploring themes grounded in our environment and daily interactions, such as capturing the synchronized movements and instinctive responses of people and animals. In contrast, her portraiture takes a more introspective approach, focusing on steady gazes, quiet pauses, and moments of reflection.
Erin's artistic journey and teaching extend across the globe. She has provided private instruction in portraiture at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Chongqing, China, and pursued advanced studies at renowned institutions including Gage Academy in Seattle, Grand Central Academy in New York, and Florence Academy of Art in Italy.
Her figurative and portrait work has gained national recognition, with features in Fine Art Connoisseur, Southwest: The Magazine for Southwest Airlines, and American Art Collector. Erin is also a frequent finalist in the esteemed International Art Renewal Center (ARC) Salon, further solidifying her standing in the contemporary realist art world.
The City of Bothell Arts Commission hosts regional visual artists in the gallery of Bothell City Hall. Selected artists showcase their work for approximately three months. If you're unable to meet Erin in person, visit the Bothell City Hall Gallery and see her two-dimensional work through September 30. The Bothell City Hall Gallery is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. The gallery is closed on weekends and major holidays.
