1. Is garbage service required in Bothell?

Yes. Garbage service is mandatory for residential, multi-family, and commercial properties that are within Bothell's city limits (BMC 8.20).

4. What is Wastemobile?

It's a roaming hazardous waste collection disposal service program that comes to Bothell six times a year.

You will need a voucher to attend the event. You can receive your voucher at the Recology Store.

11. Who can I contact if I have large donations?

You have lots of options here:
- Buy Nothing Project Bothell has three Facebook groups: Bothell North, Bothell Central, and Bothell South.
- Thrift Stores. You can drop off at Goodwill or Value Village, or you can schedule a pickup with Northwest Center (the "Big Blue Truck")

12. What is the cost for the recycling event?

The city will give you a voucher for $22 to use towards recycling large or hard to recycle items. You are responsible for transporting the item to the Shoreline Recycling and Transfer Station.

13. How do I request recycling or sustainable education at my school or student educational program (like cub Scouts, after school clubs, summer camps, etc)

You just need to complete the Outreach Educator Request Form and we will in touch soon.

14. Can I take a tour of the recycling center?

15. When is the next shredding event?

16. How do I schedule an inspection?

You can request an inspection through permits.bothellwa.gov. All requests will be logged and assigned to a City Inspector. If the request is received by 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, an inspector will respond to the site on the next business day,
